Alert:  Deadline March 23, 2026

The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is collecting information from organizations that are interested in applying for future federal funding opportunities for the Rural Texas Strong program and state funding opportunities created by the Rural Health Stabilization and Innovation Act (House Bill 18, 89th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, 2025) and do not currently have access to the HHSC Grants Management System (GMS).

The HHSC GMS is a centralized, web-based platform that simplifies and standardizes the entire grant management process across all HHSC programs. To access the HHSC GMS, organizations will first need to register for an account with HHSC’s single sign-on portal, IAMOnline.

HHSC has created the HHSC GMS Access Request Form to collect information from organizations that will want access to the HHSC GMS. HHSC will use the information collected to register organizations for IAMOnline and GMS. Once registered, organizations will receive information about accessing both their IAMOnline account and GMS. Organizations must submit the HHSC GMS Access Request Form by Monday, March 23.
